Consequences of the 3D-seismics surveys
The survey method is hardly perceivable by human beings and animals and harmless.
The seismics waves emitted for the surveying method are hardly perceivable by human beings and animals and entirely harmless.
During the surveying phase temporary obstruction of traffic may occur on roads and lanes in the area because of the convoy of the seismics surveying vehicles.
Rights of access and way are required for the surveys in the area to be surveyed. Staff of the executing company will personally contact the owners to settle these rights.
Avoiding of damage
To limit the impairments to man and environment associated with this surveying method to a minimum the works are mainly carried out and carefully planned in the wintertime. It will be co-ordinated with the competent authorities in which areas special safety measures need to be applied. Special needs of nature conservation and environmental protection will be taken into account.
The vehicles used for drilling will be equipped to match the special characteristics of the respective terrain – e. g. low-pressure tyres to keep damage to crop and lanes as low as possible. By keeping minimum distance in compliance with special provisions damage to buildings and installations will be prevented.
If so required, crop, lane and other damages having occurred within the scope of seismics surveys will be recorded immediately after termination of works and will be settled by mutual agreement.
